“Be the change you want to see in others!” We dedicate the 45th Allegro Vivo Festival to the unique ability of humankind to create vital transformation and our musical theme for 2023 resounds around “Metamorphosis”.

In the last four and a half decades, Allegro Vivo has created a prospering cultural landscape in the region of the Waldviertel, connecting all generations and cultures, providing a profound international impact. May this development be exemplary for many and the power of music flow from here as a lifeblood out to the world. We are delighted to open the gates of this year’s Summer Academy to over 500 participants to support their vibrant talents and passion for music.
